Angus Maguire Ltd. is a London-based art dealership and consultancy business, specialising in Modern and Contemporary Art from 1880 to the present day.
The business focuses on sourcing and researching fine art works, whilst advising private collectors on sales and acquisitions. We access a broad network of other advisers, specialist dealers, commercial galleries and auction houses, on a continual basis, to establish successful outcomes for our clients. We aim to provide the best possible service: whether you are buying, selling or just managing your art collection.
Angus himself has almost 30 years of experience having started in a rare book shop specialising in antique maps and prints in 1995. After 4 years, he moved into Modern and Contemporary Art, working for several commercial galleries in London before setting up pro-gram in 2003, a gallery dedicated to showcasing young emerging artists from the UK alongside mid-career International artists. The gallery closed in 2005 after a programme of 10 well-received solo and group exhibitions. It was at this time that he began his own dealership and consultancy business, forming a limited company in 2007.
Recently, Angus completed an MA in Art & Politics at Goldsmith's College in London.
