PROVENANCE

Originally bound within a sketchbook owned by Ambroise Vollard's personal chauffeur, to which the great artists of the day had also contributed (Picasso, Derian, etc), the book was sold to Ursus books in New York who subsequently divided it up selling most of the drawings (including the current work) to the Roosevelt family.
